On March 23, iLEAD Antelope Valley’s whole community enjoyed their Glider on Campus event! Thanks to Edwards Air Force Base for sharing the excitement and love of flight with young people and the entire iLEAD AV community!
This year, all iLEAD AV Studio learners (TK-8) have been immersed in aero-related projects at the same time! Their 8th graders’ Glider Project provides the opportunity to understand the basics of physics and explore the impact of flight now and in the past.
During the Glider on Campus event, their 8th grade learners interacted with pilots around a glider as they moved through four stations. They also met a pilot guest presenter. After that, all iLEAD AV learners had the chance to visit the aircraft and talk with the pilots!
