Samatha Young is 12 years old, in 7th grade, and always up for a challenge! She is a member of Team Yucca glauca. Her hobbies include spending time with her siblings and doing art projects. An interesting fact about her is that she can solve a rubik’s cube!

Who do you look up to and why?
“I look up to my family, especially my grandma. My grandma said always try your best.”

What superpower would you have and why?
“I want to fly because I like to see everything up high because it would give me a new perspective of looking at things.”

What is your Favorite book and why?
“Sherlock Holmes because I like mysterious stories and I like to figure things out before I find the answer…and because I like puzzles.”

Why did you choose to be a part of this launch team?
“I chose to be a part of this launch team because I like Space and doing experiments. The thought of being involved in the experience of making history, especially in space, is just out of this world.”
