About Xander
My name is Xander Bushu, and I am an 8th grader at iLEAD AV Studio in Lancaster, California. I am part of Team Moringa, and our experiment goal is to see Moringa germinate in microgravity. I decided to be a part of this program because I did this project in a previous year, and for me it was a pretty fun experience. I loved learning about space exploration and the plant that we chose, and I was very excited to do this project a second time with a different plant.
Outside of the DreamUp to Space program, I have a couple other interests. I love to play football, and I have been on a team for a few years now and we’ve won three championships. Football is definitely a big part of my life, and I’ve always loved the sport ever since I was little. Another interest I have is cooking. I feel like most kids my age wouldn’t enjoy it as much as I do. Cooking is definitely one of my favorite hobbies, and I love to cook for family events but not for too many people.

About Mason
My name is Mason Mora, and I am an 8th grade learner at iLEAD AV Studio. I am a part of the Moringa team and our experiment goal is for our Moringa seeds to successfully germinate in microgravity. I decided to make a proposal because I had done this experiment prior to this year and I always enjoyed learning about space exploration and working with my launch team.
Outside of DreamUp to Space, I play football. I’ve been playing for three years, and I have always loved it. I also have other interests, such as spending valuable time with my family and hanging out with my close friends. I also like watching NFL games.

About Valentino
My name is Valentino De La Torre, and I am an 8th grader at iLEAD AV Studio in Lancaster, California. I am part of Team Moringa, and our experiment goal is to see Moringa germinate in microgravity. I decided to be in this program because I wanted to challenge myself. I find science and space fun and interesting. The plant we chose has many benefits that can help the astronauts while they’re in space.
Outside of the DreamUp to Space program, I have a few other interests. I love to cook for my family and also love to play video games like NBA2k and Fortnite. Another interesting fact about me is that I love dogs. I have three dogs named Levi, Cash, and Lola. Levi, the oldest, is eight years old. We have had him all his life. My other dogs, Lola and Cash, I’ve had for one and a half years. Lastly, I love to hang out with friends.
Hello! My name is Marlaya Fisher, and I’m in the 7th grade at iLEAD AV Studio. I am a part of the DreamUp to Space project with Team Moringa. Our experiment goal is to see if Moringa seeds are able to germinate in microgravity. I joined the DreamUp to Space team because I really enjoy trying new things and seeing what I’m capable of doing.
Outside of DreamUp to Space, I have a lot of different hobbies and interests! My favorite hobby out of all the things I do is probably dancing. Dancing is a big part of my life and something that I want to do professionally. I enjoy dancing so much because that’s where I’m able to express my true feelings through movement, and that’s absolutely amazing to me.
Hello! My name is Harmony Moran, and I am in the 7th grade at iLEAD AV Studio. I am a part of Team Moringa, and our experiment goal is to see if Moringa seeds can germinate in microgravity. I wanted to join a launch team because I learned so much when I did this project last year and wanted to do it again.
Outside of doing DreamUp and school, I love to go to the gym. I love to work out my arms, legs, and more. I absolutely love to bake, play softball, and play soccer. I recently have wanted to sign up and try basketball and volleyball.
My name is Eric D. Estrada, and I’m in 8th grade at iLEAD AV Studio. I’m also in the DreamUp to Space project as a part of Team Moringa. Our goal for this experiment is for our Moringa plant seeds to germinate in microgravity successfully. The reason I wanted to be in the DreamUp to Space project was that I was interested in what this project is, and I have never done anything like it. Originally, I had signed up to be in my own group, but I couldn’t find anyone, so I was glad to be able to join this launch team.
My very strong interest is definitely baseball because to me it is very entertaining and interesting. I have been on baseball teams since I was little. Another interest is school because I love to learn. Additionally, my favorite subject is history, particularly the wars, treaties, and acts that were passed by King George II.
