DreamUp Launch Team Seagrass

My name is Enzo and I am in fourth grade. I like to play Minecraft, make my science YouTube channel (Science Nerds With Dogs and Birds) with my grandfather, bike ride and invent things. I’m really excited to join DreamUp To Space because it shows that kids can change the world and it inspires me and others to do the same. I know it is gonna be a big commitment but will be worth it and I’m very excited to be on the team.

My name is Jersey, I’m 9 years old and in the 4th grade. I love any and all types of art including drawing, painting, sculpting and creating. I’m a competitive swimmer and love the 200 IM and Butterfly strokes best. I also like to make and edit videos, dance, play guitar, and do anything that involves the outdoors. My sister and I are always building forts and making science experiments together. The DreamUp to Space program has challenged my knowledge of the scientific process, inspired me to learn more about Zostera Marina, microgravity, and the ISS, and helped me work on my public speaking skills.

My name is Maya and I am in 5th grade. Some of my hobbies include playing ice hockey, playing the keyboard, and architectural drafting. DreamUp to Space inspired and showed me that trying hard pays off. In addition, I never knew that I enjoyed science and space but after learning more about DreamUp to Space I found out that I enjoy learning about science and experiments.

My name is Naya and I am 11 years old and in 5th grade.

I am interested in many things such as tennis, horseback riding, swimming, interior design, and space. I am also a perfectionist which is good because it makes me work hard and push myself. I love to travel and am a pretty good artist. I am a very social person so you can imagine how sad I was when the pandemic happened. I love animals and have two Bernedoodles named Rocket and Bodhi. I ride a horse named Stormy and maybe one day I’ll earn my own horse after working at the stables. I have always loved learning about science and space and what else is out there. One thing that inspired me to do Dreamup is female astronauts and scientists. I know it took a lot of work and determination for women in earlier days to have a career. I loved the movie, Hidden Figures, as it is a story about strong women. I look forward to going on this journey with my team and great support.

My name is Peyton and I am in 5th grade. I love space. I enjoy waking up early to observe celestial events. I also enjoy drawing, reading, playing piano, and swimming. I think DreamUp to Space will help me follow my dreams on my path to becoming an astronaut.

My name is Sadie and I am in 4th grade at SCVi. l enjoy art, listening and singing along to music, and spending time with my dog, Walter. I also love being creative, I like to make jewelry and do arts and crafts. I was inspired to join the DreamUp to Space Launch Team after attending a launch with my brother when he participated in DreamUp to Space in 2019 – 2020.

After going to Cape Canaveral with my family, I became interested in learning more about NASA and science, even though it is not one of my strongest subjects. I am also looking forward to meeting new people and improving my social skills. I am very excited to be a part of this team and can’t wait to continue this journey.

My name is Caydin and I am in the 5th grade. I enjoy crafting, inventing, and redesigning things. I love taking dance, gymnastics, and long-distance swimming. I like to read, learn and go on family trips. I love playing with my sister and with my friends. I am excited to be a part of this amazing DreamUp to Space opportunity.

My name is Teya and I am in the 5th grade. I love reading, crafting, taking dance and gymnastics, and being with friends and family. I enjoy Harry Potter, playing logic and board games. When we can, I love it when my family goes on car trips. I am excited by the challenges that Dreamup will present.
